Boren could return in time for Saturday's game, Tressel indicated, but if not, Andrew Moses probably will take his spot in the starting lineup. The good news, Tressel said, is that this is a home game, which means decisions can be made on the status of players up to the last minute.

Brandon Saine will start at running back for Ohio State against New Mexico State on Saturday, but it appears that left guard Justin Boren will miss the game, coach Jim Tressel said today.

Boren is suffering from an unspecified foot injury. His place in the lineup will be taken by Andrew Moses.

That is good news.....we should have our best line for the Penn State game. Should read.....

I think that the offensive line is key for this game. Penn State is going to dare Pryor to throw. They'll need to open holes where none exist to take the pressure off him and give him protection under considerable duress. I hope that we can dominate the clock and keep rotating linemen so that we stay fresh on the field and keep the defense rested for the fourth quarter.

I think that this game is going to come down to the fourth quarter and that it will be low scoring. The best defense on that field will be the Silver Bullets. I think these next two games are really going to be their coming out party.
