WINROW MEMORIAL: A memorial service for former Ohio State OL Jason Winrow, who died suddenly on Sunday night at his home in Westerville, will be held on Thursday on campus at the Fawcett Center. The service will start at 4 p.m.

Winrow, who was 41, graduated in March of this year with his degree in economics. He came back to school through the Ohio State athletic department's Degree Completion Program.

A fund has been set up to help Winrow's widow, Nancy, and three children. Those wishing to donate to the Jason Winrow Memorial Fund can do so at any Chase Bank branch location or by mailing to: Jason Winrow Memorial Fund, c/o Raymont Harris, Ohio State Department of Athletics, Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43210.

Memorializing the Late Jason Winrow

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A memorial service for Ohio State graduate and former OSU football player Jason Winrow will be held this Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Fawcett Center in Columbus.

The service for Winrow, who died Sunday at his home in Westerville, Ohio, at the age of 41, will start at 4 p.m. on Thursday at 2400 Olentangy River Road, just north of the Schottenstein Center.

A native of Bridgeton, N.J., Winrow was a three-year starter as a tackle and guard for the Buckeyes under coach John Cooper from 1991-93. He was a first-team all-Big Ten Conference guard in 1993 and was drafted in the sixth round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
