LUCKEY, OH (WTOL) - Ohio State says it's vacating all of its wins from the 2010 season as well as the Buckeyes victory over Arkansas in the Fiesta Bowl.
The school is also imposing a two-year probation period on the program.
One former Buckeye great has reaction.
Howard Teifke played center for OSU in the forties.
Teifke says it's sad players involved in the scandal have tarnished coach Jim Tressel's record and the proud reputation of the university's football program.
"You have fans that want to be nice to you but they can't be too nice. You gotta use your head. It's just a sad situation," Teifke said.
Teifke says the whole college football culture has changed compared to when he wore the scarlet and gray.
"Everything is so much faster now. They've got so many more opportunities than we had. It's a whole different world. We never had scholarships. We had jobs to pay our tuition."
