After looking at the second pic he made the right cut. Did that guy tackle him because it looks like something he should be able to run through with his 10,000 squat. :p

I know this has nothing to do with Lydell, and even less to do with Derek Morris, but here is another example of our O-line creating space at the point of attack, but there is no blocking at the second level. There are two players about to fill the hole and one linebacker or safety on the right for containment. You would think Mo Hall scored on this play looking at this picture, but in reality he was stuffed for no gain.

Photo was taken by my buddy who I was at the game with sitting in the 11th row of the south stands...

Great pic! That is where it is so critical to have Joe back for the B10 season. The offense is so much better with a FB that can lay the hits.

Or bounces outside and makes the safety miss. Either way, IMO, he scores on that particular play. I know there is no way to prove this, but he has shown that he can make plays.


This particular photo shows that the O line opens holes.

I agree...just watching Pittman on his two carries against NCSU, I got the feeling that he is a much more dangerous ball carrier than the two seniors. Everyone knows that no one wants Lydell Ross to have a great season more than Lydell himself, and that Lydell and Maurice Hall have worked extremely hard to get to this point in their careers, and we all know that Tressel loves his seniors. But I agree...it's time to start getting Pittman and Haw some more looks and time to let Stan White start lead blocking if Brandon Joe is still hurt.
