Oktoberfest is going on this weekend in Columbus at the Arena district. The Warsteiner tent is showing the game on Saturday, so I'm probably going to watch the game there. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has been to this event in the past and could let me how it was. I was particularly interested in beer prices and selection.

It's never been in the Arena District before. It's been down in German Village for years. Last year, I believe it was around $8 for a tall beer-like most festivals, you had to buy tickets to get beers.

The American Beer is like piss water compared to the Great German Beer, which some germans drink it warm.

From one kraut to another - truer words have never been spoken. In fact - I dont like my Ayinger Marzen or Hacker-Pschorr Octoberfest from the fridge - the cold dulls the flavor. Give it to me in a stein from the cellar. Add a bratwurst with some mustard and kraut and you have yourself a feast.

Edit - CCI - now you've done it. One thing about German food - I dont want it all the time - but when I want it - I must have it! Heres where Im going right now for lunch today.....

Hallo Berlin

I'm going to go to Oktoberfest tonight. I'll be rocking my Deutschland shirt.

it was crazy there last night with the reganomics playing. beer is actually reasonably priced. warsteiner oktoberfest, 3 tickets for a 32oz. they also have the warsteiner dunkel, a personal favorite of mine.
