Always felt bad Bo had that hip injury. Necrosis was terrible and he had to have a hip replacement. He could have played bb for decades had he not tried to play two sports. Guy was a beast, a big man who was really, really fast. He set his state record in the high jump and triple jump. He won the state track decathlon twice, ahead by so many points that he chose not to run the final 1500 meters because he hated running long distance, and won anyway. A unicorn of an athlete.

I posted the clip because, prior to that game Bos insulted Jackson, promised in a media event before the game to take care of Bo. The play was not so notable - absent the glee of normal people enjoying that ass-hat Bos running his mouth, and getting it shoved down his throat.

And my Bengals still carry the curse of Bo Jackson. Seemed like an ordinary tackle at the time. Haven’t won a playoff game since beating the Oilers 1 week prior.
