Tough loss for you guys, G-Force. Ohio is a program that's on the rise, though. Keep your head up! Kick Buffalo in the teeth!

Turner Gill has Buffalo playing as no pushover either...as BGSU is currently finding out.

Oh my God that was one of the worst games I have ever seen us play.

We'll be ok. We have a good football team.

Well, there had to be a letdown after that solid defeat in the 'Shoe. Your guys can come back and win the MAC. A lot of what determines that will be in the hands of the coaches. The guys will be pretty down after a two-loss start but you have good coaches and one of the best running backs in college football.

As others said, keep your chin up, better days lie ahead.

Thanks, and I agree with you.

Although don't tell that to many of the posters on our bad because they are acting like idiot.

GO BOBCATS!!

I know it's a hit for the Bucks SOS, but I'm so proud of my Bobcats today. I've been following Ohio football for 6 years and can't remember an offensive performance like that. After they way the O struggled with UT-Martin I am in shock that it performed so well against NIU. Man, I hope they keep that up the rest of the season. I'd love to see the rematch in Detroit. Best of luck the rest of the season to G-Force and the Huskies, hopefully we'll(the 'Cats) see you again in Detroit.

According to the box score, OU has scored TDs on passes of 63, 16, and 58 yards.

Where do you think the blueprint for that kind of offense came from?

Kind of reminds me of last year. Last year, we beat Miami in the first game, and the next weekend they're upset by Central Michigan. This year, we beat N. Illinois in the first game, and the next week they're upset by Ohio U.

These posts illustrate exactly what happened here. The Huskies weakness was pass defense last year, and matching up against Troy Smith was a recipe for getting buzz-sawed if ever there was one. This resulted in:
  1. A recipe for NIU's destruction for all other offenses...
  2. and a thoroughly demoralized defense.
At the nexus of these two unfortunate facts lay the fortunate Ohio Bobcats. I have no doubt that they will be able to circle the wagons and put together a good season.
