Equestrian team looks to take ninth national title

Ashley Kovar has been riding horses her whole life, competing in major shows and winning prestigious awards riding her own horses.
Danielle Nichter started riding after she got a job at a horse farm during her senior year in high school.
Despite this huge gap in experience and skill, these two members of the Ohio State equestrian team will be equally instrumental when OSU defends it's national title next month in Springfield, Mass.
Members of the team refer to themselves as OSU's "best kept secret."
In its 21 years of existence, the team has won eight Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national championships, so the description seems apt.
