Ohio State Women's Ice Hockey (2022 WCHA Champions, 2022, 2024 National Champions)









The Ohio State women’s hockey season will continue in the NCAA Tournament, as the Buckeyes earned an at-large bid and will be the tournament’s No. 3 overall seed. Ohio State will face sixth-seeded Boston College in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in Erie, Pa.

Three teams from the WCHA made the eight-team field: No. 2 seed Wisconsin, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 5 Minnesota Duluth. The 2021 championship will run from March 15-20 at Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pa. Quarterfinal games will be played on March 15-16 followed by the semifinals on March 18 and the national title game on March 20. No. 1 Northwestern faces No. 8 Robert Morris while No. 5 Minnesota Duluth meets No. 4 Colgate in the first two quarterfinals on March 15. On March 16, the Buckeyes take on Boston College while Wisconsin meets seventh-seeded Providence.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.6 GPA for each semester, regardless of whether the school’s hockey team was able to play this season or not.
