Ohio State vs. West Virginia (in Cleveland), Saturday Dec. 13, 8pm EST, ESPNU

Absolute disaster of a first half. Outside of Mobley, most of these guys are playing with zero confidence offensively. Defensively, a lot of cheap fouls (again) giving WVU easy points, meanwhile OSU doesn't get many points from the foul line. Plus guys are trying to help and cut off drives rather than guard the 3, leaving WVU open repeatedly. OSU players are passing up shots repeatedly. Hard to imagine a worse outcome than being down 10 points with Mobley and Royal both with 3 fouls apiece. It seems like there is no plan to the offense beyond keep passing the ball and chuck up a 3 eventually.

No real consistent offensive plan is a common theme dating back to Holtmann. This isn't a national title caliber roster but it's better than some want to give it credit for. It's the coaching. Yes our NIL could be better but Diebler continues to show he is in over his head when it comes to actually coaching the team.
