This is a real shame that Smith chose this game to be our contribution to BTN.com. The Schott sucks. St John Arena is a much better collegiate basketball arena.

If you like boiling while you watch games and incredibly uncomfortable seats. The Schott is one of the best venues in the country, and while I don't support tearing St. John down like Smith apparently does, it is not better than the Schott.

I beg to differ. I appreciate environments that create great home advantages. Last I checked you don't hear many Duke fans talk about Cameron getting hot... you only hear opposing fans talk about it. I also love the fact that you are on top of the action. I love the way the sound bounces off the roof in St John Arena and makes it even louder.

I don't appreciate cold, sterile, empty, corporate, noiseless arenas.

Unfortunately given the fact we are stuck with the Schott I do see a need for getting rid of St John and modernizing the facilities for the teams that share it and French Field House. I hope when the new buildings are designed they incorporate the same type of home advantage feel (with better seats) and stay away from the sterility that is the Schott.

Woah, almost 3 in a row but Dallas couldnt convert. Bucks lead 35-16 with 3:12 left. Carolina will be shooting 2 after the timeout.

Wow what an awesome flurry of activity by Dallas there. Dunk, Blocked Shot, Dunk, missed underneath. Thought there might be a foul called on the third one but there wasnt.

The Schott does create a great home environment when it's full. Big games get incredibly loud in there. I have never been to a big game at St. John, but I can't imagine that 19,000 screaming fans is quieter than 13,000.
