I'll go on record as being okay with the kicks OB. Aim for halfway between the hash and the sideline so a poor kick goes OB or to the hash. If you aim for the hash and miss and it goes to the middle of the field, that is bad news. I mean....they've started at the 15, the 35, and the 14 so far -- average of 21 yard line. 3 kicks through the endzone is the 25, so they are still coming out ahead. It IS aggravating when it happens, but I'd rather that than a 50 yard return because the kick strayed to the wrong side of the field.

These kicks are fine as long as a serious threat for a return isn’t back to receive the kick. They’ve looked a bit sloppy on their assignments this year against decent return guys. Hopefully that has been fixed. Hard to tell against UNLV.

Definitely true. None of that matters if they get silly and leave their lanes open.
