God dammit shut up with this contrarian nonsense. Teams are allowed to give up kick returns and turnovers and still win. Playing sloppy as hell doesn’t mean it’s fine for refs to steal INTs, not call blatant holds, and allow their DBs to grab face masks. Yep, the STs and false starts and mental mistakes sucked. But even with those, if those refs do their jobs then we don’t even need 2 TDs in 5 mins to win.

Thank gawd we won despite the shidt calls. And our propensity to fuck ourselves with penalties and 1st and 15. We tried to give it away but finally stepped on the pedos nads at the end. The blocked punt changed the mo and the entire game.

Oh it has been said many times during the game thread on here. Nobody will deny we shot ourselves in the foot and were a lot to blame being down, but when the refs are that blatantly bad against you, it's just outright insane. I mean at least be bad both ways, but nope. You didn't even include the 3rd 11 where we declined a penalty when Tyquan Lewis was literally tackled which let McSorely get that huge 3rd down gain. Also the refs missed a clear PI penalty on our kickoff for Paris Campbell I believe right after Hubbard was rightfully called for his vs McSorely.

There needs to be answers for this crap, that was some of the worst one sided reffing I have ever seen. I have PSU friends who even thought the fix was in for PSU based on the reffing.

Amen, the only thing about this win that pisses me off is that for the most part the screwjob by the refs will be swept under the rug even more now. If the refs are going to suck, then suck both ways, don't call us for crap that you won't call them for, especially when theirs are even more blatant.

Not playing well and kicking yourself in the arse is not an excuse for refs to not do their jobs properly, not matter the outcome.
