Ohio State vs. Mount St. Mary's, Tuesday, Nov. 25, 630 PM, BTN

Just picked up the game for second half, and the score was already lopsided. Second half showed alot of individual efforts, and a mixture of young 'uns, and vets. Chapman could be the set-up shooter to complement Mobley, Thornton, and Devin. Bigs were doing a great job rebounding, putting up some scores, and otherwise augmenting the shooters. St. Mary's was overmatched, and their perimeter D broke down (or was lacking) allowing some big buckets. Mobley and Thornton seemed interchangeable at the #1 and #2, which is great, and Devin seemingly is fitting in at the #3. And there's some talent on the bench coming in....Good start, but not entirely certain Diebs has his line-ups set yet. We'll see how well the ball gets spread around. Any word on the Baylor xfer?

I’m in Columbus for Thanksgiving and to help my parents with some stuff and actually went to this game. Nice to have mobile bigs with some ball skills, and we’ll see if those skills translate against better competition. It was also nice to hear a bunch of piped in crowd noise from the football practice field as they seem to have been holding a bad weather practice unless they were just testing that noise system for today.

Mostly the 'body bag' part of the season is completed, so we'll see how this edition of the Basketball Bucks do against some big boy competition. WV has always fielded a decent team, so this match-up should tell us a tad more about what Diebs has done with what he's got. Still not certain he's settled on his starters, but he's got enough pieces to cobble together winning efforts down the line. This is a good test, and while not going against any blue bloods, WV is a cut above the teams that we've been teeing it up against. Go Bucks!
