OSU-Indiana preview
Wednesday, January 6, 2010 3:07 AM

8:30 tonight
? Where: Value City Arena
? TV: Big Ten Network
? Radio: WBNS-FM/AM (97.1/1460)
? Records: Indiana 7-6 overall, 1-0 Big Ten; Ohio State 10-4, 0-2

? Matchup to watch (maybe): Evan Turner vs. anyone in an Indiana uniform

? Notable: Ohio State swept Indiana last season for only the fourth time in 40 years. Others were in 1985, '91 and '99. The Buckeyes are 9-0 at home and have shot 54 percent from the field, including 43 percent behind the three-point arc. Dallas Lauderdale leads the Big Ten in field-goal percentage (.732) and blocked shots per game (3.0). This is Indiana's first game this season on an opponent's home court. The Hoosiers lost their top scorer, freshman Maurice Creek (16.4 points per game), after knee surgery Dec. 29.

? Next: at Minnesota, 3:30 p.m. Saturday

I was just curious if Crean has been to any other Big Ten arenas because coming here certainly isn't like playing at Purdue, Wisconsin, or Minnesota just to name three:sad:

"We feel like we're preparing for one of the toughest atmospheres around the Big Ten." -- Indiana coach Tom Crean on Wednesday's game in Value City Arena.

I feel this is almost a must win. If we lose the pressure will be on to even make the NCAA tourney. Right now I feel like we are still in the NCAA, because the tournament committee will not be harsh on the games we lost without Turner.

I agree

losing to a bad Indiana team at home, making 3 straight losses to start Big 10 play would be killer
