INDIANA GUARD JAMES BLACKMON JR. TO UNDERGO KNEE SURGERY

Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr.'s left knee surgery cost him summer workouts, but the sophomore guard recovered to become his team's second leading scorer this season (15.8 points per game).

Blackmon, however, suffered a setback last week during practice when he suffered an injury to his right knee. On Tuesday, Indiana announced the sharp-shooting guard will undergo the surgery that is best for his "immediate and long-term health."

Indiana is 21-0 in Blackmon's two seasons anytime he shoots 47% or higher from the field.

A current timetable for his recovery is unknown.

Indiana is set to host Wisconsin on Tuesday night and Ohio State on Sunday.

I'm sure Indiana will have their act back together by the time we roll into town, but a terrible Wisconsin team just gave them all they could handle in Bloomington tonight. Indiana won by 1 (admittedly UW hit a meaningless three pointer at the end, but it still was a very close game that could've gone either way--Indiana got a late steal and hit some FTs to go up four).

Expecting a slow start, but for some reason I feel like the Bucks can surprise and take this one. Playing with house money on the road, in my opinion. Play calm and let IU play their usual fast and stupid ways.
