Not remotely worried, without seeing who goes on the floor and how they work together, there's no reason to have any expectations yet.How worried about this are we? To early to be either way or is this going to set the tone?
One thing I'm sure of is if Mobley isn't healthy Offense is a big question mark.
You're right that what would be most worrisome is to see this team struggle rebounding - that has been a problem area in recent years, and Bruce Thornton remarkably helped pick up some of the slack for OSU in that area last season. Now without the safety blanket, things could get ugly on the glass for this team. Thornton and Royal were the two best rebounders on the team, and I don't see who they added who's going to change things for the better in that department. I fear that Diebler has neglected the areas of toughness, strength and physicality when building this roster. Another thing that worries me is Anthony Thompson not performing quite like you'd expect to see from a top-10 recruit ... who knows, he might never be BMOC. My guess now is that this team takes a step back from last season & these guys end up on the bubble - hope I'm wrong. A win in this game would be huge but I'm not expecting it at all.I don't really have any expectations. I kind of get the feeling this team is going to take a little bit to find their footing, so a loss isn't going to be shocking or concerning.
I would like to see them manage to not get decimated on the boards though. That's the big thing.
Interested in seeing the starting 5 and first rotations
Odd take about Jimmie Williams. From the rotation/minutes against Butler, it looks like LJ Smith has basically taken Jimmie Williams's role. So by identifying Jimmie Williams/LJ Smith as the x-factor, what you're really saying is it's going to be LJ Smith.
