Game Thread Ohio State v Washington 2018 Rose Bowl Pasadena, CA 1/1/19 5pm on ESPN

I think Ohio State wins by a couple scores.

That being said, what's Washington's longest touchdown this season? And where can I get odds they score their longest TD of the season in the Rose Bowl?

Bucks with something to prove are dangerous. Not sure why it takes something big to light a fire, but that seems to be the case.

That said, their RB will have to be bottled up and spied all game. He’s a weapon. Cracked one for 80yds this year, I believe. He’s been good and will need to be accounted for. He’s the guy that worries me the most about that team. Good back.

The real question is will we actually get a decent Washington person with some insight on their team and what they expect as far as matchups and advantages?

Nah. I didn’t think so either.

I remember when their little wine and cheese naval flotilla hit the beach back in 2003

insufferable dickheads the lot of them

This from ESPN 101 in Saint Louis, one Bernie Miklasz, who used to write for the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch:

"BONUS BIT II: With the latest snub of Big Ten football, the selection committee sent a message to the B1G: Your conference already had fallen behind the SEC, and the ACC … now you’re looking up at the Big 12. Big Ten, you’re in a slump. And you are not worthy of a spot in the playoffs, especially when your top program, Ohio State, is morally repugnant under its current head coach.

Two years in a row; no Big Ten. Embarrassing.

Thanks for reading …

–Bernie"

What is it with this faux moral superiority?

I’m from and live in Stl. It’s a great pastime in this city to read anything by Miklasz on hockey or football and laugh. He was always decent on baseball, but never could stay in his lane.

I was born and raised there. Have lived in Columbus since 1970.
He loved Notre Dame, because that is pc. I wonder what he would say to the parents of that kid struck by lightning.
I can't stand Miklasz. He was okay while he was at the Post, but he is now one of the birds in the ESPN magpies' nest, chirping for a worm.
Let's just beat snot out of Washington (no particular problem with them, they are just our next opponent).
Just can't stand ESPN/SEC/ACC media-hypocrites' complex.
