My dream scenario. Harbaugh and his merry band of idiots start talking smack about Chase Young this week.

Gameday: Chase young gets 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and forces an pick-6. Up 48-0, Day puts Chase Young in as a fullback on the PAT and says, "Get me two, Chase." Chase gets him two. This is my dream, and I'm sticking with it until reality strikes it down.

I like it. Except in my dream, Chase gets him three.

Have a feeling that 9 pt spread will be 15 by kickoff. The low spread has me a little nervous. Vegas seems to know something that it will be close. Compared to the computer models that have us winning by 15 to 25 pts.

Remember when Vegas picked against the Buckeyes 6 games in a row and then Urban Meyer was hoisting the National Championship trophy?

I also remember 1969...vividly. Woody strolled into Whoreville thinking he had The Game won already. Day won't make that mistake.

I agree. Day's too smart. The other thing, if I may, was Rex Kern getting hurt. Woody could have sent Ron Maciejowski in, but chose to stay with Kern.

What computer model has us winning by 25? Everything I’ve seen has us winning by 9 to 11.

It’s funny that we now live in a place where being favored by 9.5 in “close”. This is the second biggest line against TTUN in the last 5 years.

I expect the game to be very similar to the Penn State game, except Ohio State has fewer turnovers, and TTUN gets a few more yards through the air.
