The Buckeyes’ homecoming game will air on BTN.
A lot of Ohio State’s 2016 schedule’s kick times are already out in the ether. Especially compared to most of the rest of the country, it’s far more trivial to plan out your football Saturdays as a Buckeye fan, than say, one of the Texas Longhorns, who have no set game times after the month of September.
OSU continued to add to their transparency Monday, announcing that Oct. 1’s homecoming game against former Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash and Rutgers will be set for a noon kickoff. The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
Rutgers has certainly seen their fair share of early season struggles after getting blown out by Washington. The Scarlet Knights needed a halftime come from behind victory against a bad FCS team in Howard and then had to come back from a sizable deficit again vs New Mexico, a team that had lost to New Mexico State a week prior.
While the Buckeyes should cruise -- expect them to be as much as three score betting favorites — perhaps no one knows OSU’s tendencies better than one of their former coordinators. Be sure to check out the university’s official homecoming hub for all the details on everything else going on that week.
