With some game film to review, the Buckeyes’ depth chart looks a little different for the Sooners.
Ohio State had a lot of adjustments to make at halftime during the season-opener to Indiana -- both to personnel and scheme, but those changes completely turned around the momentum of the second half. Now, the Buckeyes are heading into their home-opener in prime-time (featured on ESPN’s College GameDay), against a team out for revenge, and the depth chart looks a little different.
Meyer already mentioned during his weekly press conference that running back Mike Weber was back to practicing at full speed following the IU game, and that Weber along with freshman sensation J.K. Dobbins would both get touches in Week 2 against Oklahoma. How those carries will be divided has yet to be determined -- and best wishes to the guy who has to make that call. For the time being though, they are both listed as first-team rushers.
Newcomers to the depth chart this week are freshman Pete Werner and sophomore Justin Hilliard to the linebacker position.
