Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets - Jake Hausmann receives accolades, Buckeyes offer Myles Dorn

A future Buckeye got some great news over the weekend.
Urban Meyer and the Ohio State coaching staff do a great job tracking down talent on the recruiting trail. Locked and loaded with a gang of talented verbal commitments, one of the soon to be future Buckeyes received some major accolades over the weekend.
On Sunday afternoon, Cincinnati Moeller head coach John Rodenberg announced via his Twitter page that standout senior Jake Hausmann was named not just First Team All-Greater Catholic League, but also tight end of the year for the conference.
The 6'5, 235-pound Hausmann helped lead Cincinnati Moeller to an overall record of 5-5 this season. More than just a blocker, the soft handed four-star prospect hauled in 50 receptions for 718 yards and 11 touchdowns.
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Hausmann, who committed to Ohio State in January over scholarship offers from the likes of Boston College, Florida State, Penn State, and Notre Dame, is currently considered the third tight end, and 116th overall prospect in the class of 2016.
Buckeyes dish out new offer
Before national signing day the Buckeyes are definitely looking to add more playmakers to the 2016 class. Already blessed with the top overall class in the country, Ohio State set their sights on another senior standout last night.
As first reported by his Zebulon B. Vance High School (NC) defensive back coach Anthony Hackett, three-star athlete Myles Dorn picked up an offer from the reigning national champions. Dorn, who stands 6'2 and 195 pounds adds the Buckeyes to a long list of scholarship offers. Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and West Virginia are just a few of the schools reportedly trying to add his talents to their roster.
Seeing action all over the field on the high school level, Dorn has the skill set to play either safety or wide receiver in college. Even though the Buckeyes are looking to bring in another wide out, Myles would more than likely start his career off in the secondary if he ends up in the Scarlet and Gray.

Johnson Jr. names leaders
With nearly a year left until he signs on the dotted line with a college, elite class of 2017 wideout Keyshawn Johnson Jr. has a good idea of where he might play football on the next level. Holding well over a dozen scholarship offers, the Calabasas (CA) High junior named a top five on Sunday of Alabama, Clemson, Nebraska, Ohio State, and USC, where his father and former NFL great Keyshawn Johnson attended.
Keyshawn has made the trek from the west coast to Columbus in the past. While he enjoyed his time on the OSU campus, programs such as USC and Nebraska have made things interesting in the race for the 6'1, 195-pound four-star prospect.
