Ohio State's big recruiting weekend just got a bit bigger, as two more 4-star prospects are scheduled to be on campus.

Haskins to visit Columbus

Despite already having a commitment from '16 QB Tristen Wallace, a four-star QB from Texas, Ohio State has not closed the door of possibly adding another signal-caller to the class. Earlier this week the talk was directed towards '16 QB Tylin Oden from Tennessee, who told me an offer from the Buckeyes was "likely." But on Wednesday, it was reported by ESPN's Tom VanHaaren that '16 QB Dwayne Haskins would be making an official visit to the Ohio State campus this weekend.

Haskins, who once had Ohio State out in front, is currently committed to Maryland and has been for about seven months now. However, since the pledge to the Terrapins, some changes have been made to the coaching staff with Randy Edsall getting the boot and Michigan defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin now at the helm. Haskins had visited Florida not long ago and with a visit to Columbus in the cards, it'll be interesting to see if the 6'3, 198-pounder sticks with his pledge to the Terps. With the upcoming visit, Ohio State is hoping to jump back into the race for the Bullis School (MD) QB.

Corley visiting OSU over ND

The Buckeyes are still looking to add another wide receiver to this year's recruiting class and one of those possibilities comes in the form of '16 WR Donnie Corley of Detroit Martin Luther King (MI). Corley has been a long-time target of Ohio State and the Buckeyes have been trying to hard to secure another visit. In fact, it was Fiesta Bowl opponent Notre Dame whom Ohio State was battling in hopes of getting a weekend visit from the four-star wide receiver.

According to Marc Givler of Rivals.com, the Buckeyes won the battle and will receive an official visit from Corley this weekend. As of now, it seems to be the in-state Spartans of Michigan State who have the edge in this recruitment but I wouldn't count out Ohio State. The Buckeyes will get yet another opportunity to impress the U.S. Army All-American and it's worth mentioning that he was sporting some Ohio State gear back on December 3rd when he received his Michigan Player of the Year trophy.

Gary still an option?

Another position the Buckeyes are working on adding a prospect to is the interior of the defensive line. One player that seems to be counted out in the pursuit of defensive tackles is '16 DT Rashan Gary, a five-star prospect from New Jersey. However, Ohio State isn't throwing in the towel just yet as they have already sent Larry Johnson, Ed Warinner, and head coach Urban Meyer to the Garden State to visit the nation's top prospect this month according to Bill Kurelic of 247Sports.com.

Despite the positive update given by Kurelic, I wouldn't expect Gary to be a Buckeye come NSD 2016. However, I am feeling confident that the Buckeyes are able to add one of '16 DT Antwuan Jackson or '16 DT Rashard Lawrence into the fold and finally give '16 DT Malik Barrow a running mate.

Friday gets OSU offer

Speaking of New Jersey prospects, it was ' 18 OL/DL Tyler Friday who was on the receiving end of an Ohio State offer yesterday. The Buckeyes were Friday's third offer thus far as Michigan and Rutgers had previously sent the Don Bosco Prep (NJ) sophomore scholarship offers. Friday is a 6'3, 250-pounder and it's Ed Warinner who is the point man in this recruitment.

Mack, Williams see ratings bump

With most high school programs seeing their season finally come to a conclusion, some re-evaluations were given from some recruiting services. That means a new 247Sports Composite Ranking was released and two future Buckeyes received lofty increase on the list.

After an extraordinary senior season at Bishop Luers (IN), '16 WR Austin Mack now stands at 78th on the list after previously being slotted at No. 91. The other Buckeye commit to see a boost was '16 RB Antonio Williams of North Stanly (NC) as he bolted up 53 spots from 217th and is now the 161st best prospect in the 2016 recruiting class.
