With the end of the regular season fast approaching, Ohio State will be hosting many of the country's top prospects that are still available in the 2016 class.

With the inclusion of this week, there are only three more regular season contests for the Ohio State football team. As Meyer and staff always relay the message of competing for championships in November, the time has come to finish the season strong and hope their destination has a stop in Indianapolis in early December. With only one home game left, Meyer and Ohio State are expecting the game versus Michigan State to be the biggest recruiting weekend of the season and right now it certainly seems to be shaping up to be that way.

Hayes making his way back to OSU?

Last weekend, the Buckeyes not only hosted Minnesota, but also Ann Arbor, Michigan 4-star linebacker Daelin Hayes. Originally a Southern California commit, Hayes recently chose to reopen his recruitment and many believe Notre Dame is the sure bet for Daelin's college decision. However, after last weekend's trip, Daelin was adamant that his visit to Ohio State was superb and the Buckeyes certainly impressed the highly touted prospect. Fast forward about a week and a wrench has been thrown into Daelin's recruitment. Last night, via his Twitter account, Hayes made it public that he was canceling his official visits to LSU and Oregon to focus on his top three -- where the Buckeyes have landed themselves, largely due to his official visit experience just a week ago.

Not only does Ohio State now have to only battle Michigan State and Notre Dame for Hayes' services, but one would guess that a return trip to Columbus is in the works. Again, with only one home game left for Ohio State, Daelin would have to be in town when the Spartans come to Columbus, and makes this just another opportunity for Hayes to continue to develop relationships with Ohio State. With a possible return trip happening, Ohio State is definitely a force to be reckoned with to land Hayes. Time will tell, but Meyer and staff have certainly made up ground with the 4-star linebacker in no time.

After talking with my family, I've decided to cancel my scheduled Officials to LSU and Oregon to focus on my top 3 -ND -OSU -MSU ✳️✳️

Future Buckeye receives All-American honors

Class of 2016 Ohio State commit Drue Chrisman received a special honor yesterday as he was awarded his Army All-Amercan jersey. Chrisman is the lone punter in Ohio State's 2016 class and that is more than okay as Drue is considered to be the nation's top punter, according to 247sports. At 6'4, 200 pounds, he will certainly have some power in his leg. Buckeye fans are spoiled right now with Cameron Johnston at the helm of the punting duties, but Drue seems to be one who will take over with no problem whatsoever.
