Postgame Quotes
OSU sophomore forward John Dingle
On the game... "We can't be happy with one point, but we came away with some positives. We were playing our systems well and good things were happening, but we had to get desperate to make a goal. We need to mix our play up because we're playing against good players in this league.
OSU head coach John Markell
On Bowling Green "These teams can compete and Bowling Green came with a better effort tonight. It's early in the year and these guys on our team are learning to compete. We're a new club and we have to continue the learning process. We found a way not to lose and that point is going to be important down the line. It's a learning process and we have a lot of young guys out there. We're only four games into the season and we have to live through it. It's a tribute to the CCHA because it's a tough league."
Bowling Green head coach Scott Paluch
On the game... "It was a terrific college hockey game tonight. It was important for our club, especially after last night. This (the Schottenstein Center) has been a tough place for us to play and I think our players did a good job getting themselves together this morning."
On Bowling Green's rebound control... "We did a great job on rebound control, we definitely did a better job of minimizing the rebounds. We needed to make an adjustment after last night. They had more shots tonight, but they were a lot more manageable."
On the penalty kill... "Out penalty kill really responded well as the game went on. The response is significant after last night. We played well against a really good team."
