Ben Jay has been hired as the senior associate athletics director for finance and operations at Ohio State, effective Oct. 16, Gene Smith, OSU director of athletics, announced Wednesday. Jay has served as the associate commissioner for business and finance at the Pacific-10 Conference since March 1994. At the Pac-10, Jay was the chief financial officer responsible for the conference's financial administration and office operations.
