That is a good observation! It may be that there were only 4 indoor courts available. #5 singles went on after #1 singles finished.

Somewhat interesting that this match is being played in Norcross, Georgia.
The 9 am start was obviously delayed. An extra hour or two would have been better for those jet lagged west coasters.
Would love to see the Cats pull the upset, but if not, take it to them long and hard.

USC with a convincing 4-0 win over KY.
Somewhat surprising that the section of the lineup I anticipated may be vulnerable (4-6 singles), preformed well. USC dropped Nguyen to #4, added Poldma at #3, and solidified the bottom of their single's.
Quarterfinals with the Trojans will be Sunday at 1pm.

If I remember correctly:!, I think you thought that we could get some points from the bottom portion of a USC matchup. Looks like a USC coach might be thinking right along with you... unfortunately.

You have too good of a memory.:biggrin:
Unfortunately the USC coach dropped Nguyen to #4, which takes away the advantage Novak brings. (He has been so steady and dependable all year.)
I believe Ty is thinking Allare can win at #5.
Not sure how Shuhei/McCarthy will match up with USC #6, ranked #100 in ITA.
It would be wonderful to steal two of the top 3, and the double's point!

I hate to say this but I just don't see Marcan winning. In fact, I have more faith in JK winning his match. I think we will in #1 doubles but after that I just don't know. I would like to add that I think we got hosed when it came to the seeding of the NCAA's:( + USC = cheaters in everything:tongue2:

Question: when it comes to seeding how do they work it before the match:huh: Does coach Juan say player x will play #1 and then coach2 will say who will play #1 for their team and then coach2 says who will be playing #2 for him and then coach1 and they just continue going back and forth until all the matches are set or is it done a different way. I cannot see how I could not be done without a coach putting his better players against the other teams weaker players without some type of fare type of seeding.
