It will be interesting to see if there were some issues with the courts or the internet score keeping regarding singles matches 5 & 6.
Some really nice long matches would be very nice. Let's go Kentucky:)OSU_D/;1706986; said:This link contains Kentucky v USC. USC is up 1-0 after winning the doubles point.

If I remember correctly:!, I think you thought that we could get some points from the bottom portion of a USC matchup. Looks like a USC coach might be thinking right along with you... unfortunately.gracelhink;1707015; said:USC with a convincing 4-0 win over KY.
Somewhat surprising that the section of the lineup I anticipated may be vulnerable (4-6 singles), preformed well. USC dropped Nguyen to #4, added Poldma at #3, and solidified the bottom of their single's.
Quarterfinals with the Trojans will be Sunday at 1pm.
Go Bucks!

I hate to say this but I just don't see Marcan winning. In fact, I have more faith in JK winning his match. I think we will in #1 doubles but after that I just don't know. I would like to add that I think we got hosed when it came to the seeding of the NCAA's:( + USC = cheaters in everything:tongue2:gracelhink;1707058; said:You have too good of a memory.
Unfortunately the USC coach dropped Nguyen to #4, which takes away the advantage Novak brings. (He has been so steady and dependable all year.)
I believe Ty is thinking Allare can win at #5.
Not sure how Shuhei/McCarthy will match up with USC #6, ranked #100 in ITA.
It would be wonderful to steal two of the top 3, and the double's point!
That does it, I am calling it right now!
tOSU takes the double's point with wins at #3 and #1.
Buchanan, Marcan and Allare win their singles! tOSU avenges last year's finals loss, by a 4-2 score!
Who else wants to make a prediction in this "guess the quarterfinal" contest?
After morning rain showers forced play indoors, the No. 4-seed Ohio State men's tennis team shut out Wisconsin, 4-0, Friday in the Round of 16 of the NCAA Division I Team Championship at Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Facility in Athens, Ga. The Buckeyes (35-1) will now face No. 5-seed USC at 1 p.m. ET Sunday in a quarterfinal match. The win over the Badgers marks the fifth-consecutive year Ohio State has advanced to the quarterfinals of the championship. The win moves the three-time unanimous All-Big Ten honoree to first (tie) on the program's career singles wins list.
"It's definitely exciting to be back in Athens in my final postseason as a Buckeye," Kronauge said. It's a great accomplishment and I think it takes a little pressure off me. I'm just trying to do what is best for the team."The Buckeyes improve to 39-32 all-time vs. Wisconsin, defeating the Badgers three times this year (4-3, April 25; 4-0 May 1). The Buckeyes also extended their season win streak to 26 matches. "Anything can happen in the NCAA tournament," Tucker said. "We know Wisconsin very well and we knew coming in doubles would be an important factor to the match. Anything can happen in doubles. I think we had a let-court winner at 15-40 down double-match point at No. 1 and everything started bouncing our way from there."
In doubles, the Buckeyes battled in one of their toughest points of the 2010 season.
