Also McNally and Wolf might be a pretty good doubles team too:

The McNally and Wolf families have a long, shared history of friendship and tennis.

The families directly shared in the latest success when John McNally and J.J. Wolf teamed up to win the U.S. Tennis Association 18s doubles national championship on Aug. 13.

The official site has a story on this incredible recruiting win for Ty Tucker.
If I am not misremembering the last time Bucks received a loi form the number 1 recruit in tennis recruiting it was Chase Buchanan .
The 2017 senior class has the #1 and 2 recruits in USA signed with the Buckeyes.
To give some perspective of this exciting news, blogger bobby knight has broken down recruits by universal tennis ranking,
Of all the u.s. And international signees the Bucks class stands out with the only two recruits ranked above 14.00.

The official site has an article about a plethora of Buckeyes, past, present and future who are playing in a $75,000 challenger at the Varsity Indoor Tennis Center on OSU campus this week.
I will have much intrigue around wildcard John McNally who received an invitation into the main draw and will face current Buck Herko Pollannen.
Michael Torpegaard did not receive a friendly draw, will face #1 seed in the first round.

Buck alum Peter Kobelt also claimed a first set vs. #524 Tucker Vorster.

Re: Dismissing a brief temptation to look elsewhere, the 17-year-old blue chip from Cincinnati has announced his commitment to Ohio State for the fall of 2017.

Looks like McNally beat Herko 6-1, 6-3; which makes you think McNally could be a major contributor to Ohio State this year.

Women's tennis coach Shaub announced the signing of 3 new additions to the team, (Love the recruiting connections with IMG and Evert academies in Florida.)
2 will enroll in January, international athletes Shiori Fukuda (Tokyo, Japan) and Maria Tyrina (Moscow, Russia) and one in Fall 2017 Mary Beth Hurley.
Some impressive competition for Fukuda and Tyrina, should give much needed depth for the spring team and Hurley should contribute immediately next year.

Bobby Knight on College tennis today Blog site listed JJ Wolfe as an early enrollee!!!!
Will be interesting to see where he might "fit" in the lineup. But can't begin to tell you guys what good news this is.
If his 14.34 points total earned in tournament play are reliable that would make Wolfe the 2nd highest rated player on the team.
(Torp is #1 in NCAA at 15.09 and Hugo DiFeo is 14.02).
I predict that Ty would love to see JJ at #2 or #3 in the single's order.
Torp should dominate at #1, This guy is money. DiFeo will battle and be effective at #2 but would prevail over any team's #3.
That would essentially bump Pollanen and Joyce to 4 and 5 respectively.
Herko at #4 and Martin Joyce at #5 would be the highest rated #4 and 5 in the NCAA.
Instead of having to find a 5 and 6 singles, Bucks would only need a #6 from Matt Mendez or Kyle Seelig.
What was once a rebuild time is becoming a reload year.
Fun times ahead.
