ooops 7 minutes late, now we "only" need 3 singles to advance to the semis.
I will predict that Steinbach, Kobelt, and Metka will get the job done.

I know nothing about the ranking system, but I find it odd that both teams have a highly rated doubles team, Texas has 3 players in the top 100 while tOSU has only one, yet the Bucks are rated #5 and Texas #10.

Kobelt and Diaz both drop their matches. Callahan wins his to tie it at 2-2. Metka and Steinbach in their 3rd sets, Pollanen up 5-2 in his second set, trying to put up point #3 for the Bucks.

Bucks advance to face U Va tomorrow.
Steinbach was receiving with a break and match point when Metka closed out.

edit. uva and Cal will play in the quarters today with the winner advancing to face the Buckeyes on Sunday.

UVA swept Cal, 4-0....they are headed to their 8th straight NTI Semi's, pretty dang impressive.

Apparently this is also the 5th straight year they've met OSU in the semi's? Interesting.

UVA has the #3 in singles, as well as the #62.
