No shit. When I saw who we drew I was a bit pissed. In fairness, I do think that UMD deserves a higher seed than we do, but the Domers are a much better team than their record suggests. They’ll come ready to fuck up shit for us. It’s hard to beat a team twice in a year. At least we get them at home. I hope there’s a fucking big crowd for the game and I hope it’s loud.

I’d be looking for a very physical game. Fyock between the pipes will be the difference. We will go as far as he will take us in this tourney. He’s playing at an All American level right now. It will be interesting to see what Nick dials up in terms of the D. With Tasty in cage they may be able to get away with being a bit more aggressive with doubles. We’ve not had that kind of luxury in… well… I can’t recall. It would be nice to get to the second round this year… and doing so with a home win against the Domers would be a sweet way to get there.

Cornell was down 14-10 early in the 4th quarter of the Ivy Final against Princeton. They scored 10 straight goals and won 20-15.

If I was a betting man, my money is on Big Red. Damn, they are a fun team to watch. It’s not quite late ‘80’s Cuse, that was special… but it’s certainly close. It looks like they are playing back yard ball, they play free and fun and their fundamentals are on point. They play with a high IQ and combined with skills like that, it’s difficult to defend because it can come from anywhere.
