Ohio State Men's Lacrosse (2013 ECAC Champions)

Inacio is apparently dinged up. I’ve not seen when he’s expected to return but if it isn’t soon, this season is in the shitter before it gets started if we give up that many free possessions.

I think that I also saw that we lost GBs by double digits too? Don’t know how the hell you win games if you aren’t winning face offs and GBs.

I knew that this season could be completely hit or miss. Starting to prepare myself for it being a miss. Frankly, with how the season ended last year, there’s a part of me that is wondering what’s going on in the locker room. Nick doesn’t exactly have a reputation for being a players coach and I wonder if that’s starting to catch up.

Edit: GBs were 39-24 for BU. 13-4 in the second quarter for BU alone.

Edit 2: https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/BU-OSU-Box-Score-2-8-20.pdf You show me this box score without the scores by period and 95/100 times that is a loss. Game was won by the goalie.

Wow that is the ugliest 7-win boxscore I've ever seen... Just to recap, BU...

Outshot us by 9
Out GB'd us by 14
Out Fo'd us by 12
and had 4 more EMO's

HOW THE HELL DID WE WIN THIS GAME??? HOW THE HELL DID WE BLOW THEM OUT????

The 18-8 save differential is absurd.

All things considered a good win today. I think that LAX Refbot had Bucknell as a favorite (56%) and they are pretty accurate.

Inacio was 14-24 at the dot so that helped to have him back.

13 saves by Kirson (54%) and holding them scoreless when we were man down (four times) was the difference. We were essentially even on ground balls (31-30 favor Bucknell).

Still haven’t seen them play live this year because of coaching. We wrapped up winter today so hope to have a few weeks to see them play coming up soon.

it’s a nice schedule this year that would have set up favorably based on home games. Aside from UMD, we have the load of our competition in Columbus this year.

Hoping with Inacio back (?) for face offs they can start at run.

50% coaching and 50% turn overs. Clock management was stupid bad today from the sideline. There was a point near the end of the first half where we were man up and didn’t push the play at all, and with the way that we were winning the dot we could have easily pushed for two goals and settled with letting the ball die in Myers stick and no goals. Would have been the difference right there. Not saying that we would have scored two, but that kind of mismanagement is indicative of this team.

There’s too much talent on this team to be mediocre.

Perhaps it’s time for some new leadership at the helm. Someone ain’t pulling their weight.
