Jack Miller enjoyed his visit to Columbus.

Miller has Bucks on top

Ohio State had a host of highly touted prospects on campus this weekend who were able to take in their thrilling comeback victory over Penn State. One of those standouts came in the form of '20 QB Jack Miller, a pro-style passer that attends Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

All indications are that the 6-foot-4, 210-pounder enjoyed the trip to Columbus and that shouldn't be a surprise. In fact, according to Jeremy Birmingham of LandOf10.com, there was talk of Miller possibly shutting things down. Obviously, that ended up not being the case at Miller held off on making a pledge to the Buckeyes and will instead make more visits in the coming months.

However, what Miller did reveal to Birmingham in the brief chat was that Ohio State was indeed the leader in his recruitment. The Grand Canyon State prospect also stated that he will be back on campus in the spring or the summer. After that trip, Miller said he will then announce his commitment afterwards.

So, all-in-all, the Buckeyes are in a very good position for what looks to be one of the very best signal callers in the 2020 recruiting class — despite it being very early. Miller is currently penciled in as the 47th overall player in his class by 247Sports. Furthermore, the Firebirds leader also is slotted as the very best pro-style QB and the second highest graded player from the state of Arizona.

Gordon one to watch

Another prospect that was on campus this weekend to see the Buckeyes nail-biting victory over the Nittany Lions was '19 QB Andre Gordon of Sidney (OH).

The thing is, he's not JUST a quarterback, he's much more, and that's why Ohio State and other programs across the country are treating him accordingly. Gordon, a 6-foot-2, 185-pounder, is also a combo guard on the basketball floor that has even acquired offers to go that route at the next level.

As expected, Ohio State has both Urban Meyer and Chris Holtmann targeting the two-sport star and this past weekend. Gordon got an opportunity to see both sides of the program despite coming as a basketball visitor and he revealed to Alex Gleitman of 247Sports that "it was great."

"I got to meet the staff and the game was pretty fun. It was a successful weekend!," the Ohio prospect told Gleitman.

Despite getting looks from plenty of programs on both the gridiron and hardwood, Gordon isn't sure which path he is going to take yet. Gordon told Gleitman that his options are open and he isn't set on what he is doing yet.
