Ohio State drops to No. 8 in this week’s AP Poll

No surprise after a Week 2 loss that the Buckeyes slid in the rankings.
So, it wasn’t a great weekend for Ohio State football, and the latest AP and Coaches Polls reflect just that. Fortunately, it wasn’t just any team who came into Ohio Stadium and planted their flag, it was the No. 5 ranked Sooners, keeping the Buckeyes in the top 10.
Penn State is now the reigning Big Ten leader, moving into the No. 5 spot on both polls, and Ohio State now sits behind that team up North in the rankings.
