Never seen a team shoot so poorly. Been this way since Holtmann took over. These rankings come from all star camps/circuits where absolutely no defense is played. That’s why these 5 star guards look so damn good shooting in high school. Doesn’t translate to the next level.

Officially done with the CH era. Go ahead and give him his walking papers right now. I'm done accepting below mediocrity. We should be much better than this, pull the plug and find our next coach now. We're losing half this team anyways next year, might as well plan ahead and try to hang onto guys like Thornton, Gayle, Middleton, etc.

That would be nice but Gene is already retired mentally (has been for awhile now), he isn't doing shit. Gotta hope the new AD comes in and cleans house but we are probably stuck with Holtmann heading into 2024-2025.

If we get the AD that's rumored, he'll win some early support from me by nipping this in the bud. We cannot do another year of this shit. Pretty much everywhere else we don't need an immediate canning, but we do here. Basically negligence at best to not make that move.

But I get that Gene won't ride off into the sunset firing his boy CH, even though he should.

That's how it feels right now, like he had no intention of doing anything but collecting a paycheck for his last almost 2 years. Should have retired last July 1. He is killing the department.

Yeah….the ORU should have been the straw. That team had some very good players….depth….lotsa good attributes…..yet he found a way to blow a lead down the stretch to weak ass ORU

He follows that up with a single win in March 2022….then follows that up with a losing season in 2023

friggin’ horrible

Missing 22 of 25 three point attempts is part of it. Continuing to launch threes instead trying something else is also part of it.

So much of what this team does offensively is one on one or shoot a three, and it's not just this year.
