Both teams are playing to avoid the first day of the Big Ten Tournament next Wednesday. Right now, Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana and Nebraska are in a four-way tie for 10th place in the conference standings. Teams 11 through 14 will play on the first day of the tournament.

Buckeyes' coach Thad Matta said he wasn't worried about battling for position in the standings just yet.

"I want to play well tomorrow night and see how we do there," he said Monday. "Big picture with these guys doesn't seem to work real well."
