bit of a guess here, but im thinking he saw samuel being held and just threw it in that general direction just to get the call. if samuel was being held as bad as it kinda looked he might have been, it would have been pretty tough to judge a good spot to actually put the ball. but i could be way off there just watching from home.

Yeah, I didn't see the initial hold that messed the route timing up.
