2020 OL adds OSU offer

Ohio State already holds a verbal pledge from offensive lineman Jake Wray, but that doesn’t mean they’re done trying to secure a commitment from other soon-to-be junior prospects.

On Friday, the Buckeyes handed a four-star tackle from Memphis, Tennessee a chance to rock the Scarlet and Gray. Adding a scholarship offer from Ohio State to his growing list, Marcus Henderson of Memphis University School now holds over a dozen college opportunities.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, and Tennessee are just a few of the schools that the Buckeyes now find themselves up against in the pursuit of the 6-foot-5, 300-pound roadblock.

Leading the way for the University School rushing attack to account for nearly 2,000 yards on the season, Henderson, the 13th offensive tackle and 80th overall prospect in the entire class of 2020, per 247Sports, helped pace the Owls to an overall record of 6-6 and a trip to the Tennessee High School football playoffs as a sophomore.
