i agree with 44820.


but, the turnover thing will be there all year. high number of tunrovers are a trademark of a gaurd orientated team, with no real 4 it will continue and get worse as the year goes on.

The only thing I will say is that if you believe that Butler cannot penetrate you are crazy. He doesnt do, b/c he stays within the offense and lets the other scores/slashers do their things, which is what a pg should do.

I agree he has trouble with pressure, but usually he doesnt make the stupid pass, and when he does it is b/c he is trying to make the spectacular play instead of the safe play. Lets also remember he is very young only a sophmore.

Also his defense on other pgs has been pretty good.

This only partly relates to the game last night. JJ Sullinger cracks me up. My father and I traded out tickets for 404 in exchange for seats on the front row behind the basket and you can hear JJ going, "WOOP!!! WOOP!!! WOOP!!! WOOP!!!" everytime he is guarding an inbound pass and sometimes when his guy has the ball. I don't know why it amuses me sooooo much, but I just about fell out of my chair last night at one point. :biggrin:

Sullinger's defensive style is intense, and also includes some tactics that are a bit unorthodox. Sullinger actually whoops and whelps at his opponent when he plays defense, something the Value City Crowd picked up on this week and joined him in the whooping and whelping.
"I've noticed it," said Sullinger.
"Like last night I was hooting and hollering at the guy while I was guarding him and a couple of people in the crowd, I heard them doing it with me. It definitely gets you excited. I definitely noticed it and hopefully it's something people keep doing," Sullinger said.
His teammate, Dials, also liked what he heard from the crowd in response to Sullinger's defensive effort.
"I wish the crowd would get into it with that woofing because I think it will mess the other team up a little bit," grinned Dials.​
