You would be surprised that minimal research on basic websites will yield answers.:io:

That is pretty cool how that works isn't it, but I'm at work (which is pretty busy) so I was kinda hoping someone would supply an answer promptly. But thanks for contributing. I got the answer on the scout site. They were actually helpful and not trying to be a smartass.

For a look at the stats:

ESPN.com - NCB - Box Score - Wisconsin-green Bay at Ohio State

I didn't see the game. How did a 6'-5", 195 lbs. guy (Terry Evans) get 13 rebounds? Didn't anyone ever "box him out"?

I'm not saying it was all ok in terms of boxing someone out or not, but there were a TON of long rebounds from missed 3s by W-GB.....and I seem to think Evans getting his fair share of those.....

Nice showing tonight...

We still have lots of work to do, but tonight was a good start...

It looks like Lighty and Butler are going to do more slashing than just standing and looking for open shots...

I think eventually Diebler is going to get going, but like I have said he seems to struggle trying to get open and find his spots...

Hunter, Twig, and KK are going to give us very good shooting from the outside with our big guys, which should open up the paint even more for guys driving...

It looks like at this point Matta only has confidence in 7 guys to see the floor...

But I really think that Lauderdale is going to see his minutes increased if he gets in games and does what he did tonight...He is a great rebounder and huge presence in the middle on D...He doesnt have much of an offensive game which I think is keeping him off the floor, but his defense will allow him to see the floor more...

I could go on, but I will spare you guys...

Having grown up watching my dad's spartan squads, it's a breath of fresh air to watch Wallace attack the boards with an attitude similar to those squads. That's been one gripe of mine with past Matta squads.

Yeah I was amazed by that board...Couldnt believe he was strong enough to pull that board down the way he did...

Also that is what Lauderdale was doing as well...

KK and Twig just aren't as physical as Hunter and Lauderdale and I think that we could struggle to rebound against some stronger teams...

I also think that Lighty, Butler, Diebler, and Turner need to stick their nose in there and use their length and strength to grab some boards...

Rebounding is going to be an achilies heel all year...It always seems to be a problem with Matta's teams...

You know what? You probably could've found your answer in much less time looking it up yourself than the time it took typing your question on multiple sites and awaiting replies.

Sincerely,

Another smartass

Guess we're all feeling a bit touchy this week?

I was hoping to make it to tomorrow's game if it were at 6 (cousin has tickets), but since I work nights, can't do the 9pm game.

From what I did get to see of tonight's game, I was very pleased to see our guys play with quite a bit more energy then last week's game.

OHIO STATE MEN'S BASKETBALL

Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team defeats Wisconsin-Green Bay

Tuesday, November 13, 2007 Doug Lesmerises

Plain Dealer Reporter
Columbus- Fewer than 16 minutes into his sophomore season, Ohio State's David Lighty reached a career high for points in a game. Hello to the 2007-08 Buckeyes.
With memories of 2006-07 men's basket ball team mates such as Greg Oden relegated to his No. 20 jerseys sprinkled through the crowd, the former Villa Angela-St. Joseph star flashed an offensive game his family jokingly worried had vanished last season.
That Ohio State team needed the defensive Lighty. This one needs the Lighty who can slash to the basket, hit jumpers off spin moves and get out on the break.

Tuesday, November 13, 2007
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

COLUMBUS As Jamar Butler walked into the postgame interview room, he said to no one in particular, ?I feel a little bit better walking in here tonight.?

David Lighty almost doubled his career high with 21 points, and Ohio State righted itself from a humiliating exhibition loss to beat Wisconsin-Green Bay, 91-68, Monday night in the opening round of the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament at Value City Arena.

The Buckeyes (1-0) advance to meet Columbia (1-0), which beat Delaware State 47-41 in the earlier game.

Ohio State lost to an in-state Division II school, Findlay, in its last exhibition game.

?I got too many calls,? Lighty said of the aftermath to the loss to the Oilers. ?There were a few people I didn?t even know, trying to figure out what happened.
