Ohio State 65, scUM 58 (final)

Tough night for Diebs and Dallas yet we won, anyway. Nice to see guys like Turner, Buford and Mullens step up and have their backs. That's what a TEAM does to win. :osu:

Was REALLY happy to see these guys play with some grit there at the end of the game and finish this game. Even when they pulled to within 4 points late in the game there, we didn't panic. On the contrary, it seemed to make us more focused and composed.

The kids are alright. They're really growing here right before our eyes.

Time for the interesting useless stat. OSU is now 84-70 vs. Michigan in basketball. OSU football is 42-57-6 in football. Win the next game at home vs. Michigan in basketball and the combined basketball/football record becomes 127-127-6. Perfect .500 record for the rivalry, if you include basketball.

If his last game was FLORIDA GULF COAST against MERCER... how did he get tOSU @ TSUN?

not sure.

Box score lists Gene Crawford, Terry Wyman, and Antonio Petty.

He isn't a Big 10 regular, although he has called games at Illinois, Penn State, and in Chicago this year.

The better question is what the hell was he watching tonight? It was unreal. If you don't believe me, re-watch it.

It really was exceptionally bad. It was to the point that the scUM fans were damn near rioting every time they didn't get some bullshit call.

I think I could talk about this all night. He did everything an official would do to change a game, without drawing attention to himself.

The blown out-of-bounds calls were friggin' unreal. How many times did he give the ball to Michigan, after the ball clearly wnet off a Michigan player. He didn't give any 50/50 balls to tOSU all night.

He also hit Evan with a palming call, that wasn't obvious, and the travel at the end of the game. The travel was probably the right call, but I'm not sure most officials call it. He didn't call any palming or traveling calls on Michigan.

The other really weird thing to me was the only call I saw him make against Ohio State all night, wasn't even his call. Another official blew his whistle for a touch foul, and Petty raised his arm really quickly, and took credit for the call at the scorers table.

I'd really like another person to re-watch the game and see if they see the same things.....I'm not calling this guy Tim Donaghy, but if he was trying to pull a Tim Donaghy, he did it perfectly. Except the Bucks got some calls from the other two guys down the stretch.
