Ohio State 64 Illinois 58 (Final)

Illinois is looking much better than the first time we played them. We had better not take them lightly even if it is a home game. Randelle (SP?) is not healthy and I do not think he played much in the first game.

He actually ended up playing 37 minutes. I know there was talk of him not playing at all, but he was the leading scorer for them with 14 points on 6-11 shooting.

I just hope that there is a solid crowd there...I have a feeling some fans are going to have given up on the boys a little bit due to the 3 game losing streak...

I think this is a chance for us to start a nice string of wins, but we can't take them lightly because Illinois is a solid team, and they have to be hungry for a win, with the way they have started big ten play, even tho they have had a very tough go of teams to play so far...

Having it at 9 isn't going to help either. It's tough being out until 11:30 on a weeknight.

I'll be there. I sit one row away from the top but its alright. I sure hope fans arn't giving up already. After the way Hunter and Turner played against Tennesse i'm thrilled to go to this game. I'm really looking forward to things starting to come together. :oh:

Yeah there is no reason to give up on these guys yet. Unfortunately I get the feeling we have all been a bit spoiled as a fanbase.....

It isn't really the fact of being spoiled, but the thing that some people have to travel, it is a mid week game that won't tip till 9 and so we all know the crowds at the game, before last season...

Also Illinois is not a big name right now...

Yeah, and it is really cold and snowy outside today too.
