I've always liked them
Ron "Fang" Mitchell is a fine coach. I believe he got the MEAC's last NCAA win (excluding play in) when they beat South Carolina as a 15 seed back in 97. Coppin State will collect their check and leave with a beating.

Think it was closer than that, too lazy to google. They came very close to I think beating Texas in the second round. Coppin State seemed like the perennial MEAC representative to NCAA but I think they've slipped some of late.

Coppin State is in the midst of a brutal trip to collect pay checks. 12 of their 13 Non-Conference games are on the road this season. That's got to be tough on a team being on the road against superior competition so often.

If you don't mind paying, park in the buckeye lot and take the the shuttle to the door...It is $7...All the lots to the North of the schott are for people with passes and media...
