Game Thread Ohio State 45, Northwestern 10 (Nov. 8)

beanie looked ok to me. he reminds me of pittman a little in that regard. a lot of the time when he is getting up after a run he looks either tired or hurt. didn't seem like he was favoring anything.

am i the only one sick and tired of these "late hit out of bounds" calls? the first one on the lil animal and the one on nw on pryor. im just not seeing it... how can it be "late" when the offensive player is still in bounds? neither were significant. if your going to count the qb's intents to go out of bounds you have to count the defensive players intentions to not deliver a significant hit as well. let the kids play already!

oh and can we sue anyone over the clock rules? no? crap. well... we need to at least egg someones house.
./regular_mode_resume.sh

i now return you to your regularly scheduled tOSU pounding of nw :p.

I take it this is your first time watching the Buckeyes. :wink2:

No its my second. I'm a noob fan, but I'm falling in love with the playcalling on this team. falling in love.

BTW Michigan up on Minne 16-0. Looks like Minne is giving up their season after last weeks loss. Too bad. I really thought they had a lot of potential.

Pryors passing looks so much better than two weeks ago. That TD pass was perfect. Very nice!!!

Beanie - We can add another member to the varsity club!!

Yeah baby!!

:oh:

:io:I hope we don't go to run, run, run next half now that we have a comfortable lead. I think it'd do wonders for this team to go all Tim Tebow on the Wildcats and actually keep some offensive momentum going into next week. As much as I enjoy watching Beanie run, I'd love to see TP get into a nice groove running the offense.

Nader Abdallah has improved sooooooooooooo much...he may get drafted.

Boom...he reminds me of Brian Calhoun.

Brandon Smith...Heck of a blocker...may get drafted.

TP...making much better decisions.

Dane...the kid is a gamer.

Our team started off rusty from the bye week but are all cylinders now. NW is not a joke and we are beating them like a step child.

I don't know what extent you're saying this to, but I too would like to see us continue to play like it was a game. One thing I don't want is to go as classlessly as Meyer does it.

Dr. Lou is still a segment? Really?

I like the way this game is shaking out (except for the atrocious offensive line play. Have I mentioned that I think they are just awful?).

TP is absolutely coming into his own.
I'm excited about the youth on this team. Looking forward to the next two weeks. An absolute beating of Michigan in the finale and a BCS bowl.

I don't want to see USC in the Rose Bowl. I think this Ohio State team needs a bowl that they can get some confidence with. I think USC would be another bloodbath.

Totally agree about the late hit calls. Very weak. They need to re-evaluate how that rule is used. I was glad to see NW get one to kind of even things out. This years clock rules suck big time. Less game, more commercials.

First of all, nice to see new fans, welcome to BP n00b.

Now to the bold, this is a very interesting statement from a new fan, as most that are regular fans of the Bucks have been very dissatisfied with the play-calling this year. It's too bad you missed the 2006 season, or else you would already be a Buckeye lifer. I'm sure the next few years with TP will come somewhat full circle and go back to some of Troy and Tressel's schemes, so the next few years you should really enjoy.

Oh, and spread some rep to everyone n00b.

I'd like to see us work on the passing game......Keep running, but let's get TP more and more comfortable with throwing the ball.....NW isn't going to stop coming after us....
