Best football we've played in a couple years now I think. We're just all over the place on defense! I really like what Williams and co are doing on the defensive line.
The only negative I would say is the almost turnover by small, and a pattern with Pryor still. Anyone else notice how he starts the game guns a blazing then kind of stops running and starts taking sacks? He'll always get up to 30-60 yards rushing then starts going backwards with sacks? Thats just nitpicking but still ya know?
I thought for the most part Pryor was running much more decisive than her normally has early in this game. Beanie is still the bell cow of the offense, and has thrown countless stiff arms today.
Also the play calling on offense has been very good! The screen to the fullback/H-back was awesome and they seem to be in a flow of what they want to do offensively. Hopefully we come out playing lights out for the second half as well because we need to carry this into PSU week. The last thing we need is to stall out and look lathargic again going into next week.
I really can't say enough about the defense though. I thought going into this week we've had ringers number and I think through 1 half he's done nothing to change that thought. The problem with MSU though is they have ZERO passing threat which is what honestly I thought would happen. I think our secondary is on of the better i the country so I knew they weren't doing much there. Forcing turnovers again as well. Great job defense!

I was very impressed with the buckeye's in the first half. Didn't get to watch much, because I had to split wood! Even though they started to sputter at the end of the half. Loved seeing Beanie's Forearm of Furry, Animal layin wood and Coleman's interception. The d-line looks like it was starting to fire off the ball and get pressure as well. Very good first half in my eyes.

The boys look good today, complete and udder destruction of MSU. TP looks great, the receivers are catching the ball, Beanie looks wonderful. It's all falling in place at the right time, hopefully we can get PSU to win so we have a huge game next weekend. The only thing I don't like is JT getting a little conservative before the half. He was content on us running the clock down. I don't want to say running up the score is classy, but like last year, MSU came back. This is college football, teams can grab momentum and come back, I don't want to see that so I think one more TD would crush MSU's hopes.
We are really looking good up to halftime so far, lets keep the intensity up and put up some more points and get ready for next week!

Dantonio is quite good at halftime adjustments. It will be interesting to see what we do by the end of the third quarter.
I'd love to see us rested a bit and PSU banged up badly, after a come from behind victory against TSUN.
