Game Thread Ohio State 3, Southern Cal 35 (Sept. 13)

I don't think the fanbases like each other enough to really discuss it. There is more history (short and long-term) between SC and OSU than OSU and Tx. Anyone who visited the old bucknuts recruiting board back in January/February 04 or 05 knows that the two fanbases don't mix.

The OSU presence on WeAreSC has been likewise underwhelming, and in fact practically non-existent until maybe a week or two ago.
Illannoying boards think you're lucky.

Last night at a bar here in Santa Monica, my buddy and I were talking about baseball when some really big dude chimed in about the Dodgers. We get to talking and find out that he is an USC guy, which inspires me to tell him all the wonderful things about the Buckeyes. Turns out, the dude is Aaron Emmanuel, RB of the 1989 Rose Bowl Trojans (lost to scUM)... long story short, I NEVER bet on the Buckeyes, but I bet Mr. Emmanuel that if - somehow the devel pulls a fast one on God and - the trojies happen to win I would buy his game ticket to the 2009 rematch in Columbus. If the Buckeyes win, I get a steak dinner anywhere in LA... just thought I'd share.

Big Dean's right off the Pier - took in the concert last night. Of course, I have been explaining the many wonderments of the Buckeyes whereever I go here in SoCal. I will likely be fist-fighting my coworkers (read: bosses) as we get closer to Sept. 13. I'm not sure they're ready for how serious I take this.
