I'm making no attacks at troy, hes just giving an opinion like the LSU fans did, we gloated and lost that game so....

Perhaps you're referring to a different board? There was little if any gloating going on here, either from our regulars or from the LSU visitors.

Uh yea, no offense, but this is a bs "vote". First of all, it's from the Bleacherreport, the most unreliable news source there is. Plus, you conveniently left out the disclaimer in the beginning which said that this list was merely the author's own opinion. Here's the source: The 10 Most Hated College Football Programs In the Country | Bleacher Report

I believe that you would find that most polls do have Ohio State higher than SC, such as ESPN's.

But being the more "hated" is irrelevent. The only thing which matters is who is better.

Right! I forgot that USC likes to give their playes 100K plus just to show up and sit on the sidelines, let alone more to play. Here, I will be wearing this shirt on gameday.

Agreed on all counts. Welcome to BP.

I agree, but most importantly, it's a bs question to begin with that carries little merit outside of fair-weather fanhood.

So when another poster makes a calm, rational post - this is your response?

I think you saw the gloating on another board you frequent.

Here's to hoping that every prognosticator picks against tOSU. It is much easier to play as the underdog.
Agreed, but in this game, the 05-06 UT games, and the 07 NC game - was there really an "underdog"? I think those games were all washes - when spreads are 3 points I wouldn't really call those games underdog games..

Now, if your favored by 40 points to beat, let say Stanford :), then that is an underdog

My point is exactly the 06 nc game. Let everyone say tOSU will lose is a much better thing.

Good point. The 9/13 spread should be less than 7 for USC. The only sense in which OSU will be the underdog is that they will be on the road. It will almost surely be the only regular season game in which the Buckeyes are not favored (maybe a slight dog @ Wisky). But I don't think that being favored or not will have much of an effect on this OSU squad. They are an experienced group from top to bottom, and have been put thru the ringer on the field and in the media. I think they believe that they can beat any team in the country, and know that they have to prove it every week, no matter who the opponent. There is senior leadership on every unit, and even the sophs and juniors know what it takes to compete with the nation's best.
