When defending MAC Champion Ohio comes to play in Ohio Stadium, are they not the home team?

The most recent visit was a 43-7 Buckeye win in 2010.

Confirmed Kickoff Times for Ohio State’s 2025 Season
Date Opponent Time TV Venue
AUG. 30 TEXAS Noon FOX OHIO STADIUM (COLUMBUS, OHIO)
SEPT. 6 GRAMBLING STATE 3:30 p.m. BTN OHIO STADIUM (COLUMBUS, OHIO)
SEPT. 13 OHIO 7 p.m. Peacock OHIO STADIUM (COLUMBUS, OHIO)
NOV. 29 MICHIGAN Noon FOX MICHIGAN STADIUM (ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN)

Ohio State now knows it will at least have one home night game this season against Ohio, though that far less anticipated matchup is unlikely to satisfy Buckeye fans’ desires for more marquee home night games. Fans who don’t subscribe to Peacock will also take umbrage with the Buckeyes’ game against the Bobcats being unavailable on traditional cable television, though it’s hardly a surprise that Peacock will air at least one Buckeye game this year. It’s the third straight year that at least one Ohio State game will air only on Peacock, which previously broadcast the Buckeyes’ 2023 road game at Purdue and 2024 road game at Michigan State.

If anyone wants to get Peacock for $25 for a year:

https://www.engadget.com/deals/this...-soon-get-one-year-for-only-25-163231984.html

Scroll down and hit the button. It ends today 5/30. A lot better than $8 a month.
Every other streaming service I have tried has worked well for me in terms of data integrity, buffering and latency. Peacock has been utter trash. Combine that with the fact that I have become borderline ambivalent about this sport, I’m just going to find other things to do when the game is on Peacock. Shoot, I might find something better to do when it’s not

Peacock might do better by 'renting' the announcing duo from another network. Their guys are more about trying to show how smart/experienced/knowledgeable etc they are, rather than reporting what's going on, versus supplying 'color'. Camera crews also seem like they were picked up from the unemployment line, rather than trained professionals. Since Ohio State games are always watched live, and taped, cannot go back and speed through the commercials, as not allowed.

Peacock for me is OK when I’m watching it stream live. But when I want to rewind it for 10 or 15 seconds to watch something again, the rewind and fast forward features are abysmal; it’s so hard to get it to move only a few seconds, it zips back a couple of minutes as soon as it goes into rewind mode. That just drives me nuts, with all other streaming services it’s easy to move backward and forward in small chunks of time.
