Game Thread Ohio at #1 tOSU, Sat. Sept. 13th, 7 ET on Peacock

Hate the fact that this game is on Peacock. I’m not paying for a subscription to be able to watch one game a year.

When I worked there, I found that the rest of the country constantly mistook us for OSU. I could be talking to a supplier, another University, whomever - if they were outside Ohio, they often thought, at first, that they were talking to OSU. Once, before a big meeting with higher ups at OU, I stopped a consultant from using a PowerPoint with the first slide showing the Oval with the statue of William Oxley Thompson. He angrily called his assistant in California to email him a picture showing Ohio University - he then received picture of Orton Hall.

That's sort of why the whole "Ohio against the world" thing annoys me. For the most part, the world doesn't think ill of Ohio. It just doesn't think of Ohio much at all.
