Montgomery reveals Ohio State visit plans
While the Buckeyes already hold a pledge from his big brother in the 2023 class, Ohio State is hoping for more of the same in their efforts with 2025 quarterback Ryan Montgomery of Findlay (OH). Montgomery is one of two quarterbacks in the class that has picked up an early offer from the Buckeyes joining five-star quarterback Colin Hurley of Trinity Christian Academy (FL).

That goes to show you just how highly the Buckeyes think of Montgomery and the good news for Ohio State is that they will get yet another chance to leave an impression on the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder. According to Eleven Warriors, Montgomery will be in attendance on Nov. 26 when Michigan comes to town for the annual clash between the arch-rivals.

While the visit should come as no surprise with Montgomery being so close to the Ohio State campus and the big recruiting weekend that is expected, any time you can get a likely top quarterback target on campus is one you will gladly take. Montgomery is currently unanimously predicted to wind up with the Buckeyes when all is said and done as they are the prohibitive favorite on the 247Sports crystal ball.

Chanced upon a Xichigan board, said that Ryan has TTUN firmly at #1. Also that his brother (a tOSU commit) was voicing the same thing....kinda wonder what TTUN writers are smoking, or what color the sky is on their planet....or maybe that's 'crootin'! Go Bucks!

Their "insiders" are well known for blowing smoke up the fanbase's arses. I think almost half of OSU's roster "favored" scUM during their recruitment...

However, I think an Ohio special powers QB is a great follow up to Raiola, making it possible this recruitment won’t work out that way.

Hey, I agree. Sounds like the brothers are (almost) signed and delivered. Big brother will be a godsend on the OL, I'm betting. Little brother (to me at least) is still iffy, and can be swayed. There's alot of 5*s ahead of him. Time will tell, and blood will begat blood. Mom & Dad would want the 1 1/2 drive to C'bus instead of farther away anyway.....

MONTGOMERY WILL WORK OUT FOR COLLEGE COACHES AT TWO SESSIONS IN JANUARY

One of Ohio State’s top quarterback targets in the 2025 class will showcase his talents for various college coaches next month.

Ohio signal-caller Ryan Montgomery has in-person workouts scheduled for Jan. 19 and Jan. 26, as the rising junior quarterback hopes to give ample opportunity for any coach to watch him throw before the 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback narrows down his top schools before the start of his junior year.

Ohio State is expected to be among the schools attending at least one of Montgomery’s workouts. Montgomery visited OSU twice this season, including for the season-opening win against Notre Dame and the regular-season finale against Michigan.
