I absolutely LOVE that Glenville is back to putting out OSU-level talent. Reese is going to be a stud, West should be dynamic once the logjam clears up with Burke/Iggy/Hancock departing, and I am super high on Witten once he develops a tad more physically and adapts to the system. Don't know anything about this kid, but great measurables for a LB.

The Buckeyes are the new favorite for a top-100 national player from their own backyard.On3’s Vice President of Recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, and Ohio State insider Alex Gleitman both cast their official predictions for Johnson to end up at Ohio State. On3 themselves has Johnson rated slightly higher than the other recruiting services, ranking him No. 87 nationally, the No. 9 linebacker and No. 3 player in Ohio.

The Ohio 2026 four-star had his recruitment shaken up over the weekend when he received an offer from Ohio State while visiting the program. It’s always a big deal when an Ohio prospect gets that Buckeyes offer. This one is no different as sources tell me that Ohio State now leads for Johnson. It might not happen right away but I expect him to end up as a Buckeye.

In the end, Ohio State might be too much to overcome for the 2026 four-star linebacker from Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville but Texas A&M, Oregon and Alabama are also fighting and Penn State remains among the top programs in Johnson’s recruitment.
Kentucky, Louisville and Notre Dame could get visits soon as well but his trip to Happy Valley for the White Out could end up being a game-changer in his recruitment.
